The workshop “Applying Mathematics to Theology” will be devoted to the problem of mathematical models, concepts and inspirations that have influenced or can influence theology and religious studies. Also papers arguing for the impossibility of such applications or the misleading character of attempts to apply mathematics to theology are welcome.

The Congress consists of 8 thematic workshops and a general session. Every day (except Sunday) the meetings start at 9.00 a.m. (local time).
The conference will be held in the Hotel Palace (hotelpalacesinaia.ro), one of the most famous hotels in Sinaia, Romania.
The sessions will take place in the conference halls.
Every contributing speaker will have 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion. Please prepare your presentations in a communicative way.

We encourage contributing speakers also to stay in this classy hotel. The special price for the event is 90 EUR for a single room, 96 EUR for a double room, in both cases with breakfast included.

The event will start Sept 3 and will end Sept 8 in the evening. We therefore recommand arrival on Sept 3 and departure on Sept 9. The Palace Hotel is securing 80 rooms for contributing speakers until July 20. The rooms will be attributed on the first come first served basis.
The weather in Sinaia can be really cold even at the beginning of September. Please bring some warm clothing.
